The Penta Foundation in cooperation with the Faculty of Law of the Charles University and the Faculty of National Economy of the University of Economics announces the third year of a competition named the Penta Award for excellent study results (“Penta Award”). The Penta Award is intended for students of the last year. The competition evaluates their study results achieved during their study. The best students of the said universities, who fulfill the terms and conditions of the competition and be selected by a selection committee, will gain 50,000 crowns.

“Majority of student competitions require preparation of a project. Predominantly, the excellent study results for the entire study, knowledge of world languages, and significant extra-curricular activities belong among principal conditions for granting the Penta Award. Candidates must prove not only responsible approach to their study but also their desire for self-study and professional growth,” informs Katarína Remiašová, Penta Foundation Manager.

Applications that the students had to deliver through their study departments on 10 January 2006 at the latest will be evaluated by a selection committee composed of representatives of academic senates of both universities and top managers of Penta Investments. During the session of the committee, all candidates will have an opportunity to present their results and qualities as well as their plans for the future in person. In total six students will be awarded – three from each university.
