Fortuna Entertainment Group (FEG), the leading omni-channel gaming entertainment provider in Central and Eastern Europe, has signed an agreement to acquire a 51% stake in Lob, Montenegro’s second biggest operator in the field. This acquisition represents one of the largest foreign direct investments in Montenegro in recent years and a significant step in strengthening FEG’s presence in the markets of Southeast Europe.

Lob, headquartered in Podgorica, has been operating for more than 25 years and has developed a wide network of retail outlets and digital entertainment services across the country. The company is recognized as Montenegro’s number 2 provider of sports prediction services and sports and gaming entertainment content. The company reported revenues of €27,5M in 2024, online represents 77% of its business, while 65% is sport betting. Lob has over 300 employees and over 100 branches.

“Montenegro is a market with great potential and a clear European direction. We will significantly invest into Lob, drive its growth and establish best in class capabilities and best-practices. Through our partnership with Lob, our goal is to contribute to the modernization of the entertainment sector, enhance transparency, and develop innovative solutions that improve user experience.” said Dieter John, CEO of Fortuna Entertainment Group.

The expansion is not only geographic, but also technological. FEG continues to invest in the modernization of all user touchpoints through advanced technology management, AI-powered personalization, analytics and insights development, as well as the enhancement of digital platforms and online experiences. These innovations contribute to the growth of the sports and digital entertainment sector and redefine how users engage with modern digital services.

“This partnership opens a new chapter for our company. Cooperation with an international investor who shares our values of professionalism and responsible business will enable further development and growth within the sports entertainment sector,” said Goran Knežević, Lob Chairman of The Board of Directors.

FEG is in the final stage of obtaining the international G4 certification, which confirms the highest standards of responsible business and player protection. In Montenegro, the company will, as in all other FEG markets, work closely with the institutions and regulatory bodies.
