Fortuna Entertainment Group (FEG), the leading omni-channel gaming entertainment provider in Central and Eastern Europe, has signed an agreement to acquire a 70% stake in TOPsport, the market-leading online sports betting and gaming operator in Lithuania. This move supports FEG’s growth strategy, as the company enters the largest country in the Baltic region. The acquisition stands out among the most significant foreign investments in Lithuania in recent years and marks an important milestone in strengthening FEG’s position across the Baltics. The transaction marks a record investment for FEG’s mother company, Penta.

Founded in 2002 and headquartered in Kaunas, TOPsport is the #1 online sports betting and gaming operator in Lithuania, commanding above 50% online market share. The company is online led but complemented by a strong retail network with 54 locations nationwide. In 2025, the Company reported EBITDA of €65 million, with a margin above 50% and ~30% CAGR since 2020.

TOPsport has over 200 employees and more than 20 years of operating history in Lithuania, with deep roots in local sports and broader culture. Key sponsorships include main partner status with BC Žalgiris (the region’s only Euroleague team), title sponsorship of TOPLYGA, the nation’s top football division, and the Lithuanian Football Federation, driving 97% assisted brand recognition.

The Baltics represent a region with high growth potential for FEG, and entering Lithuania by acquiring the market leader is a decisive step in our ambitious longterm growth strategy. This is a smart and forwardlooking investment, and we expect it to create substantial value for our business in the years ahead.” said Dieter John, Group CEO of Fortuna Entertainment Group.

Together, TOPsport and FEG uphold the highest standards in responsible gaming and regulatory compliance, strengthened by FEG’s global G4 certification, continued focus on a safe, fair, and sustainable entertainment, and leading CSR.

These innovations contribute to the growth of the sports and digital entertainment sector and redefine how users engage with modern digital services.

After more than two decades, TOPsport has become an inseparable part of Lithuania’s sports and entertainment landscape, built from the ground up into the country’s leading omnichannel operator. Today, we open a new chapter by joining Fortuna Entertainment Group. FEG brings global scale, technological strength, and responsible gaming standards that will elevate the business to new heights, while our customers benefit from the widest entertainment offering and the highest level of platform security. We remain true to our roots, but from here, with the strength of a leading European group behind us.“ said Gintaras Staniulis, TOPsport Co-Founder and Strategic Consultant.
