Consortium Two One Requests the Minister of Transport for Cooperation.

On Friday 19 August 2006, Consortium Two One delivered a letter to the Minister of Transport, Posts, and Telecommunications of the SR, Ľubomír Vážny, in person and via facsimile, with a request for a meeting and provision of cooperation in order to prepare draft conditions and commitments resolving a competition problem in the matter of a concentration of the Bratislava and Vienna airports.

The Ministry of Transport, Posts, and Telecommunications of the SR in its letter delivered to the Anti-Monopoly Office of the SR on 9 August 2006 stated that the conditions and commitments submitted by the Consortium in the matter of the concentration have not dealt with the competition problem.

By letters of 10 August 2006, the Anti-Monopoly Office of the SR informed the participants to the administrative proceedings about prolongation of a period for commenting on a call before issuance of a decision by 10 business days.

Therefore, the Consortium expects that the Ministry of Transport, Posts, and Telecommunications of the SR will provide its cooperation sufficiently in advance in order to use the best of mutual endeavors resulting in successful completion of the administrative proceedings and obtaining the consent by the AMO SR with the concentration at issue.
