Penta Investments has three new Partners. Fabrice Dumontheil, Václav Jirků and Marián Slivovič become co-owners and leaders of Penta.

Our portfolio of businesses are proving to be quite resilient and our preliminary results for 2020 are far exceeding our initial pandemic forecasts. " said Iain Child, Penta's Managing Partner.
Further, at the end of 2021, current shareholder of Penta and Partner Eduard Maták will end his current position as co-owner of Penta as well as his leadership role in managing Penta´s healthcare investments (Penta Hospitals International and Dôvera zdravotná poisťovňa).
"I have decided that after 20 years of being active in Penta´s leadership, it is a time for change. Penta has always been a very active owner in its companies. Therefore, my close colleague and the new Penta Partner Vašek Jirků will gradually take over the day-to-day active management of our healthcare portfolio. I will continue to be involved through Supervisory Board in both of our healthcare companies, ” said Eduard Maták.
Who are Penta's new Partners?
Fabrice Dumontheil (55)
Fabrice has been with Penta since 2012. He is the CFO of the entire group, a member of the Investment Committee and the Executive Board. He is responsible for the strategic financial management of the Penta group as well as for Group IT strategy. He lives in Bratislava.
Václav Jirků (48)
After joining the partner structure, Václav will be responsible for managing the healthcare investment portfolio as well as the international network of Dr.Max pharmacies. He has been with Penta since 2007. He is a trained doctor and lives in Prague.
Marián Slivovič (39)
As a partner, Marián will primarily cover Penta's investments in banking and Slovalco, as well as in media projects in Slovakia and the Czech Republic. He has been with the group since 2005. He lives in Bratislava.
How does Penta's ownership structure work?
The Penta group has been investing for many years through a fund currently owned by Marek Dospiva, Jaroslav Haščák, Jozef Oravkin, Iain Child and Eduard Maták. However, Penta actively manages its investment portfolio through management companies – General Partners, which are based primarily in Prague, Bratislava and Warsaw. Following the changes, the management structure will be owned by Marek Dospiva, Jozef Oravkin, Iain Child, Fabrice Dumontheil, Václav Jirků and Marián Slivovič.
