Jaroslav Haščák, co-owner of an investment company Penta, refutes any criminal wrongdoings, of which he has been indicted. In cooperation with his lawyers, he will take all necessary legal steps in order to clear himself of all accusations. As a reaction to current situation, he has resigned from his position of Managing Partner at Penta Investments.
Iain Child takes over the position of Managing Partner from Mr. Haščák, and will manage the buy-out division, which is responsible for all our investment companies, with the exception of Penta Real Estate.

Iain Child became partner at Penta in 2010. Before he joined Penta Investments, Iain worked at Deloitte Central Europe as a Senior Partner. Iain comes from Great Britain, and has lived in Central Europe and Slovakia for an extended period of time. He is responsible directly for Penta’s investments in Primabanka and Fortuna Entertainment Group.
Management of Penta Investments on the executive level is also supported by other partners: Marek Dospiva – Managing Partner for Penta Real Estate, Jozef Oravkin, responsible for Privatbanka, real estate projects in Slovakia and Slovalco company, and Eduard Maták, who is responsible for investments in healthcare.
