Today, Penta acquired majority interest in Polish company Stream Communications ("Stream") from its existing owner, the NASDAQ-listed Stream Communications Network & Media Inc.

The company is a Multiple Service Operator providing analogue TV, internet, and fixed telephony services over its own hybrid fiber-coaxial network. It serves over 60 thousand subsribers in 17 cities in South Eastern Poland. Penta intends to use Stream as a platform for further expansion into Poland’s cable and telecommunications sectors.
