Effective from 1st April 2012, Filip Szubert, currently an Investment Manager in the Central European investment group Penta Investments, will become a new Investment Director of Penta in the Warsaw Office. In his new role, he will be primarily responsible for managing existing Penta projects in Poland and for analysing new investment opportunities on the Polish market.
Filip is currently overseeing Penta's frozen food project Iglotex and is involved in the entry into NFI EMF Group through the public tender offer of Penta and Eastbridge for NFI EMF shares with the aim of further expansion of the company as a private company.
Filip has been working for Penta since 2008 as an Investment Manager. At Penta he was in charge of the acquisition of Iglokrak, one of Poland's leading frozen food manufacturer and distributor, and its merger with Iglotex. In the new entity, Iglotex Group, Penta is supporting further market consolidation.
Before joining Penta he used to work for McKinsey & Company as an Engagement Manager and as a Senior Consultant at BRE Corporate Finance.
Filip graduated from the Warsaw University of Technology with a specialization in Management and Marketing and holds an MBA from Kellogg School of Management. He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
