Martin Hrežo named new CEO of Penta Hospitals International

Effective from 1 February 2019, Martin Hrežo became the Chairman of the Board of Directors and CEO of Penta Hospitals International (PHI). His role will be to continue in implementing a long-term strategy of the Group in the coming years, the main pillars of which are to improve the quality of health care and to reprofile hospitals and outpatient clinics towards their higher integration and operational excellence.

Martin Hrežo as CFO has been part of the “Svet zdravia” team in Slovakia since 2012. He participated in the origin of the largest network of hospitals of the PHI Group. Since the beginning of 2017 until his appointment as CEO, he worked as the Group Chief Financial Officer responsible for financial management in all three countries where the PHI operates. In the past, he won the Financial Manager of 2013 award in Slovakia.
