Petit Press is one of the most important publishing houses in Slovakia and provides a wide range of multimedia projects and services. Its portfolio includes more than 30 national and regional printed periodicals. Digital media include especially the most popular news portal www.sme.sk. With a share of 40 %, Penta was a co-owner of the publishing house since 2016.
In 2021, Penta sold 34% stake in Petit Press to the Media Development Investment Fund. The remaining 5.5% stake was sold to the Petit Press Managers.
