Marek Dospiva

Marek is in charge of implementing Penta's investment strategy in the Czech Republic, as well as business development of all projects – both buy-out and real estate – that are coordinated from Prague. In 2001, Marek oversaw Penta's entry into the Czech market. In recent years, he has been responsible primarily for the acquisition of Aero Vodochody and the expansion of Poland's largest convenience store chain, Zabka.

Jaroslav Haščák

Jaroslav is a managing partner of the Buy Out division, as well as a co-business developer in all the markets in which Penta has business interests. Since Penta foundation, he has been key business developer in a Slovak market. In recent years, he managed Penta's entry into the healthcare and energy sectors.

Martin Kúšik

Martin is responsible for the expansion and business development of Penta's new potential market, Germany. Amongst other things, he has overseen the development of the pharmacy chain Dr Max, the expansion of the Fortuna Entertainment Group, and the successful leveraged buy-out of the water utility company SmVaK.

Jozef Oravkin

Jozef is managing partner of the Real Estate division. The division's priorities include its continued expansion in the Czech and Slovak markets and potential entry into new market. Jozef has also managed the company's acquisitions in the banking sector. In 2007 he oversaw the acquisition of Privatbanka and later on Penta's entry into the Dexia banka Slovensko.

Iain Child

Iain is responsible for Penta's business development in the banking and financial services sector. He also manages the project on the consolidation of the meat-processing sector in Central and Eastern Europe. Until 2010, Iain held a series of leading posts in Deloitte in the CE region and was involved in a number of major successful transactions.

Eduard Maták

Eduard is in charge of Penta's investments in the healthcare sector (health insurance companies, pharmacies, laboratories, outpatient clinics and healthcare centres). In 2008 he also initiated Penta's entry into a new industry – meat-processing – and subsequently oversaw acquisitions in the new sector.
